“The Island of Spice” – A picturesque island from its white sand beaches to its rain forest located in Grand Etang National Park, Grenada offers a diverse experience and some of the friendliest, most accommodating people I have ever met in the Caribbean. Pure Grenada
I am personally familiar with all Islands and Resorts I suggest in my newsletters.
“Been There – Got the Tee-shirt!” ~ Molly
Sandals Grenada was a return visit for both me and my sister, Kelly, who was celebrating a milestone birthday. However on this trip we were able to visit a sampling of other resorts and hotels, both all-inclusive and non-inclusive. We were also able to experience an all day customized tour featuring Fort Frederick, the Annadale Waterfalls, Grand Etang National Park and the Belmont Estate, a fully functional historic plantation featuring organic chocolate production. Mark, in the picture above, owns a spice garden and roadside bar featuring local rums and his own spiced rum concoction.

NOTES
On our last night in Grenada we learned of Hurricane Ian’s closure of the Miami Airport. Before we were even aware our departing flight had been cancelled, the Front Desk at Sandals Grenada had extended our stay 2 nights. A very proactive experience that I value. I always purchase Travel Guard Insurance and was certainly happy to have it in place for this unexpected, but not unwelcome, delay.
